Hi everyone,
After our visit at the doctor yesterday we could see that Caden was still growing perfectly and that all is well. We also finally got two more sonar pics. In the one he is looking at the "camera", his hand is by his mouth and the other is from the back where you can see the spine and the back of his scull. Busy little fellow, he moved around a lot while the doctor tried to get a good picture! He is 14.4 cm from crown to rump and is still expected on the 15th of May. The Down-syndrome tests also came back negative which was a relief. Thanks for all the beautiful messages and I want to say a special thanks to aunt Elriza for our stunning present. We had a surprize birthday party for her on Saturday at our place. She was told that it was my stork-tea, so she bought me a present. I must say it was very nice receiving a present on someone else's birthday, ha-ha! Wesley also had the time of his life playing with baby Haylee. He taught her how to "chill-on-the-couch". She is the most well behaved little girl I have ever seen! She just smiles and plays all day! All and all the party was a big success and we only went to bed at 01h30! Luckily we had the whole Sunday to relax. Hope everybody had a great weekend and good luck with the week!

Caden seems to be a really busy little man but hates to be disturbed or woken up (aartjie na die vaartjie). We thank the Lord that all the tests are fine. It seems like just the other day when Wes phoned to say that he was faxing me a letter from Lance (meanwhile it was Lancet Labs to confirm the pregnancy). Time really flies. Before we know it will be 15 May 2008.

Caden, jou ma en pa het Sondag baie gehelp met jou ma se naamgenoot se verrassings partytjie. Dankie dat jy jou so mooi gedra het. Ek hoop jy hou hulle mooi dop en leer uit hulle voorbeeld. Jou Ouma was baie trots op hulle. Ek glo ek gaan eendag net so trots op jou kan wees.
Jou oupa en Ouma se Taurus kind is gelukkig al mooi groot. Dit lyk my mens kan jou Taurus streke al in utero herken!! gee hulle hel my kind
Caden, skuus jou Ouma het so lank gevat om jou gister op jou foto te identifiseer - met jou ma se geduld het ek dit darem na 'n lang gesukkel reggekry. Ek het gister eers besef jy is nie net 'n idee nie, maar 'n regte mensie in jou ma se pensie.

Just imagine ... Einstein also looked like this @ 22.5 weeks! I can see many resmblances between Caden and Einstein. But then again, it all relative, isn't it?

Hey you precious creatures,
I noticed some spelling errors in my previous message to you. Just remember, I said Caden reminds me of Einstein - not SHAKESPEARE! In my defense, though, I can only say that when I was born they threw away the baby and raised the placenta!
