Happy birthday ohpaw! We hope you had a fantastic day and that all your dreams come true this year! We love you very very much!
We had an action packed day yesterday! It started off with Ame's stork tea which went really well and she got so many great gifts! Caden was very well behaved and loving all the attention from the ladies! Then we went to Conrad and Megan's house and Caden got to meet little Deqlan, Samm and Mark for the first time. It was so much fun having Caden, Keaton and little Deqlan in the playroom, watching the bubbles that Samm was blowing and listening to the baby Einstein dvd's. Thanx guys for an awesome afternoon. Then we went to Crawdaddy's to celebrate ohpaw's birthday with unlce Martin, aunt Barbara, Michelle and Peter. It was so much fun! Thanx so much uncle Martin and aunt Barbara for inviting us!
Well, tomorrow is d-day! I'm going back to work and Caden's going to tannie Annetjie. I hope I'll manage the day without him!
Anyway, hope everybody had a great weekend and good luck with the rest of the week!

Hi there,
Well a very happy birthday to Ohpaw Zak on the 19th and a happy 5months old to our little precious boy. Reezie we know it will be hard to leave your little Warrior but we sure hope that you enjoy your first day back at work. Wes thanks for that call today where our little one left a message for us on the answering machine.

Nou is jou ma skoon siek omdat sy moet kom werk, of is dit omdat jou pa jou moet oppas?
Dalk het julle almal te veel saam met Oh Paw gekuier op sy verjaarsdag? Ek weet nie maar ek ruik iets verdags! Ek wonder of Oh Paw te oud raak om te skryf of dalk het hy net 'n 'writers block'? Hy vertel my wel hoeveel 'visitors' die 'blog'besoek en so aan, so ek weet hy kyk gereeld - hmm.. dalk is hy 'under cover', mens weet nooit. In elk geval, ek hoop hy het 'n wonderlike jaar(e) wat voorlê.
Geniet die dag by die huis en ek hoop jou ma word gou gesond, ons het haar nodig hier by die werk!!

it was an honor to meet caden, he is to beautiful and as i said to you the pictures dont do him justice! he is so good and i can see lots of his mom and dad in him! hope to do it again soon, we really enjoyed it! cant believe Caden is 5 months already!!!!! good luck with going back to work! My jinne Caden, jou Ouma spot nog met jou ma se siekte en eintlik was sy regtig baie siek. Gister het sy nog skoon vaal gelyk. Blykbaar het sy flou geword, jou pa moes haar optel en in die bed sit, sy moes 'n drip by die spreekkamers kry en .... Lyk my jou pa het mooi na julle twee gekyk. Dankie tog vir dit!! En dankie tog dat jou ma beter voel.
Ons mis haar hier by die werk en hoop haar eerste dag terug gan nie te moeilik wees nie.
Al skryf ons nie meer so baie oor ons gebede nie, bly julle vars in ons harte en word julle gereeld aan God opgedra.
Mag God julle drie se bene sterk hou en in sy liefde toedraai. Ook 'n groot dankie aan Hom wat julle tot hier gebring het.

Aw shucks! You are too kind! Thank you everybody for making my 163rd (!!!) birthday a really special one. Thank you for the many, many kind wishes. But, seeing that this is Caden's blog, let me say that the outstanding feature of this birthday was the fact that I had such an incredibly beautiful grandson to grace us with his charismatic presence (his daddy and mommy aren't too bad either!)Love you all,
