Granny, Aunty Nettie and a whole weekend of fun!

Hi everyone!

Well we just had a wonderful weekend with Granny coming up from Cape Town and Aunty Nettie coming from Durban to meet mr Caden for the first time, and wow did we get spoiled! They arrived late Thursday night so we just had a cup of coffee, Caden was sleeping and then we all went to bed. Friday morning Caden woke up and straight went into gran's arms, then to aunty Nets, then to gran, then to aunty Nets and so it went. He was enjoying the new company so much and played and laughed the whole day. I went for an interview, which went very well and in the evening we had a small braai. Saturday we went to the mall to buy our little warroir a whole new wardrobe of 0 - 3 month clothes! He was in his Springbok suit that Auntie Nets bought for him and got a lot of oohs and aahs! Thanx gran and aunty Nettie for all the great stuff you gotfor Caden, aunty Nettie also bought him a very cute walking ring which I just know he'll love! In the afternoon we had another relaxing braai and Sunday it was time for aunty Nettie to go home. Thank you for everything you did for us this weekend, we appreciate it so very much! Granny decided to stay until this morning so that she could spend some more time with baby. He started teething now so we had a few hiccups with him not wanting to eat. His hands are permanently in his mouth and so is anything else he can find! Tuesday we went to go see Lord of the Dance with Wes's work. Oh my goodness, what a stunning show! A must see for anyone who is into that kind of thing! It was a sad goodbye for gran this morning, but luckily it's only 2 months and then you'll see us again! Thank you as well for all the amazing things you did for us, from baby-sitting, to the video camera, to buying so many sweets! We appreciate it more than you know and can only hope to repay you one day!
I'm down with upper respiratory infection, so anti-biotics, cortisone and a lot of rest for me! I just hope I don't give it to Caden because then it would have been his ears, teething and this, my poor boy! Caden is doing very well now, he's rolling around, grabbing things, becoming a real little person, too cute for words! We're very proud of you my boy and pray that you continue to grow as beautifully as you have so far. Thank you for fighting, thank you for growing, thank you for being the light of our lives. We love you more than words can describe and it just grows stronger day by day, just like you.

Well, I hope everybody has great weekend!

Lots of Love
Elriza

Hi there guys and doll,
Thank you so very much for an absolutely awesome week. I have only been home for one day and already am longing to see you all again. Caden, auntie Nettie and I had so much fun. You made our time real special with all those long chats we had and not to mention those cute little smiles. You really told us some big secrets which will be kept just between the three of us, okay. The day you laughed from the pit of your stomach was just too much for auntie Nettie, I think she laughed louder than you did. I really miss out little chats and sing-a-longs.
Auntie Nettie and I also enjoyed our sister weekend, we acted like little giggling teenagers when we thought everyone was asleep and spoke about "old times". Caden, you make us all proud. I know that your Mom and Dad are the proudest parents I have yet met. I am eagerly awaiting my telephone call so that we can have a little chat again. Looking forward to our next visit, counting the days.
Love you lots and lots Granny's little angel-pie.
Love to all three of you and God Bless. Grampie sends lots of love to toeka-doeks.
Lots of hugs and kisses
Granny.

Hi guys

I cannot believe a week has passed already. Wes and Elriza thanks for putting us up. We did have quite a sisters jorl. Sitting in bed with our magazines and coffee waiting for you to wake up. Your dad had quite a chuckle when he saw us. My little man, you are so very very cute and your banana branch of the family cannot wait to meet you. I have them all very envious of the fact that I kissed you over and over again. Looking forward to seeing you real soon again. Also to all the friends we met, lovely meeting you all and am sure will see you some time again. Little Malakai you too are the cutest little man, cannot blame you for not wanting to sleep with these broody ducks playing and talking to you all the time. God Bless you all.

Love
Auntie Nettie
xx

Liefste Caden,
Op hierdie lentedag wil ek jou vertel dat jou pa 'n mooi voorbeeld vir jou stel om vroumense te bederf. 'Watch and learn'.
Ouma Rina
