Chillin' in my crib

Howdy, we were just at the side of Mr Big and all looks well. The nurses are still happy with his blood gasses, although he seems to retain more oxygen lying on his tummy. We heard him make a little cry, which almost sent Reezy into a spiral of tears and laughter, but admittedly it was very cute. He is responding to us reading to him and stretches his little body to show us he likes the story. The alarms are still a bit jarring, but the nurse says it is just him trying to steal her attention from other duties. As you can see the pics alongside are of our boy in his baby nest with his Cpap beanie which holds the oxygen supply close to his nose, the plaster is a bit ugly but he isn't too bothered. The little 550gram girl next to Caden is also doing well.

Dis lekker.... oeps laat ek eerder ophou...dit begin manies klink!!

Dearest Wes and Elriza,

How WONDERFULLY blessed we all are to read your positive news about your "little warrior", precious Caden. One can just sense the passion he has for life in his fighting spirit. Only One week old, and already establishing himself as an exceptional little man ! Congratulations, precious Caden on gracing us all with reaching, with ease, the important milestone of seven days, one week. May God bless you, Mommy and Daddy in a very special way. May Caden progress steadfastly minute by minute, day by day to ensure he is soon safely home in his new nursery so lovingly created by the new proud parents. Remember we are praying for you and your families and be assured that "God is the Rock, His works are perfect and all His ways are just" Deuteronomy 32:4.

Lots of love,

Bev

Nanna of Deqlan and Keaton

Hey Big Guy!!!

I hear you've got an infection of sorts. Don't let that get you down, my boy. You have come too far to NOT believe in yourself AND in the Higher Hand Who created you. I promise you, we'll keep our side of the bargain and pray twice as hard. BUT, you must bring your side and kick that infection right out of incubator into the car park!!!

Love you, little one
